This trail mainly follows quiet country roads with some sections on grass and forest track, mostly on the northern side of the Mizen Peninsula, but starting and finishing on the southern side. Spectacular views include Dunmanus Bay with the Sheep’s Head Peninsula beyond to the north and Roaring Water Bay with its islands to the south.
