This walk follows an old traditional route uphill on an old road to the top of Mullach Bhéal (397m) and returns again to the starting point while offering the walker magnificent vistas over the surrounding countryside, especially from the summit from which Tralee Bay and Slievemish lie to the east, Smerwick Bay, the Blasket Islands and the Atlantic Ocean to the west with Ventry Bay, Dingle Bay and the Iveragh Peninsula to the south.
