On the east slope of the Scalp this trail takes you on path through a tranquil woodland of big pine trees with fine views of the surrounding farmland and the Lead Mines Chimney and great vistas of Dublin Bay and out to Howth Head. The path passes under powerlines which provide a corridor of shrubs, gorse and bramble for wildlife.
